McPhee Associates of Cape Cod is a custom home builder located in East Dennis, Massachusetts, that has been providing home building and remodeling services to clients for over 50 years! We are currently seeking a local Construction Field Supervisor/ Project Manager to join our growing team.

This is a full-time, year-round position with excellent compensation and benefits package, which include 401k with company match, health insurance, paid holidays and paid time off.

The Construction Field Supervisor/ Project Manager plays a critical role in planning, executing, overseeing and closing construction projects efficiently and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, constant project planning /scheduling, strong leadership abilities, and excellent organization and communication skills to coordinate various teams involved in the project as well as clients. This individual will be able to plan ahead and anticipate the unexpected, manage orders, budgets and cost control, lead the entire process and people, and monitor the workmanship for quality.

Candidate must have 5+ years proven experience as a residential construction project manager, a bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent, an unrestricted CSL license, OSHA 10-hour course certification, knowledge of local building codes/regulations, computer proficiency – ideally with familiarity of BuilderTrend software – and a valid driving license.

The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, excellent leadership skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to multi-task efficiently and the ability to problem solve.

We are currently seeing an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team.

• Qualifications include: 7-10 years of professional experience in all phases of residential architectural work preferred, proficient with AutoCAD or Revit, and experience in 3D design preferred.
• Skill sets include: strong attention to detail, motivated independent worker, organized, clear communicator (both written and verbal) and precision-based work a must.
• Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): meeting with clients in person or virtually, presenting designs to clients in a clear and cohesive manner, researching with town departments about potential projects for code compliance, field measuring existing conditions, coordinating structural with external engineer, working with site engineers, and developing a complete set of construction plans (including framing plans, built-in details, interior trim details and electrical plans).

We are currently seeking a residential construction laborer to join our growing team.

Day-to-day responsibilities include: maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the job site, material pick-ups, dump/lumber runs, cleaning company vehicles, assisting carpenters with tasks as needed, moving furniture and other home-related tasks, landscaping and snow removal and getting existing homes prepped for construction activity.

Candidates must be comfortable with ladders and heights, and be capable of lifting at least 50 pounds. Communication between colleagues and company personnel is crucial. Candidates must maintain a clean MA driver’s license. This is a full-time, year-round position with excellent compensation and benefit package.
